Language versions. This is a translation of the Polish original and is provided for information. The binding version is the Polish one: /pl/legal/digital-content. That precedence does not deprive a consumer of any right under mandatory provisions of law — including the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence, where the applicable conflict-of-law rules give them that protection — and it does not limit anyone's rights against the party responsible in a given situation (§17.2 and §19.3 of the Terms).

What you are buying

You are buying access/a licence to the indicated Product in exactly those formats which are listed on the Product page and in the order confirmation. Not every Product includes EPUB, PDF, the web reader and AUDIO at the same time.

Supply

After payment is authoritatively confirmed, the Product is made available in the Library without delay, unless the offer states a different time. The available actions correspond to the entitlement actually acquired.

The right of withdrawal and digital content

At purchase you make two separate declarations; without them the order cannot be placed:

  1. "I expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning before the expiry of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract."
  2. "I acknowledge that once the digital content has been supplied to me (the performance has been completed), I will lose the right to withdraw from the contract."

The digital content is supplied when it is made available in the Library, without delay after the payment is confirmed. From that moment the right of withdrawal from the contract no longer applies (Article 38(1)(13) of the Consumer Rights Act). You will receive the confirmation of the contract, with the wording of both declarations, by e-mail.

Functionality

  • EPUB/PDF: download only where the offer covers that format/download.
  • Read in Vantior: a current compatible browser.
  • Audiobook: streaming/player, tracks and progress, if the Product includes AUDIO.
  • External device: the final outcome may depend on the external e-reader operator.

Compatibility

EPUB requires an EPUB reader/application; PDF requires a PDF application; the reader/player requires a current browser, JavaScript and an internet connection.

Protection

The Library and the files are authorised. A download grant may be short-lived.

Updates

We provide the updates required by mandatory law. A new edition, an extension or a format added later does not automatically enter an old purchase, unless the offer/Vantior expressly grants it.

Lack of conformity

Rights in the event of failure to supply or of a lack of conformity are described in the Complaints section and in the Consumer Rights Act.
